El Salvador U-17 National Team completes its international tour of Europe
The El Salvador U-17 National Team has successfully concluded an international tour of Europe, marked by high-level matches that strengthen their preparation on the road to the FIFA U-17 World Cup Qatar 2025.
First phase: Seville, Spain
The journey began in Seville, where the national side played their first friendly against Real Betis Balompié. This match marked the start of a competitive experience designed to expose our young talents to international demands.
Second phase: Madrid, Spain
The tour continued in Madrid with a fixture against Atlético de Madrid. It was a highly demanding match that allowed the team to measure their performance against one of the most prestigious academies in the world. Our special thanks to the red-and-white club for all the support provided to make this preparation possible.
Third phase: Marseille, France
The tour concluded in France, where #LaAzulita faced Olympique de Marseille in the final friendly of the trip. This match put the finishing touch on an experience that has meant growth, learning and international exposure.
Every step taken on this tour has been more than just a match: it has been an invaluable opportunity to consolidate Salvadoran talent on top-level stages and to strengthen the preparation process for the major World Cup challenge ahead.
At ASM and APF University, we have had the privilege of actively participating in the planning, management and support of this international tour, working in close coordination with the National Sports Institute (INDES) and the Salvadoran Football Federation (FESFUT), with the aim of guaranteeing top-level preparation for our young footballers.
Our commitment is clear: to provide the National Team with all the tools necessary to enhance Salvadoran talent, ensuring that every international experience translates into learning, development and greater projection.
